Empowering Lagos Youth Through Folabs Autocare Training Program
Lagos is home to a vibrant and growing youth population, yet it faces significant challenges of unemployment and underemployment. Folabs Autocare is stepping up with a transformative initiative: the Auto Care Services Empowerment Program, designed to equip Lagos youth with essential skills in the booming auto care industry.
This program goes beyond basic training, offering a structured curriculum in areas such as wheel alignment, tyre replacement, vehicle diagnostics, oil changing, and auto repairs. Participants will gain hands-on experience in a supervised auto care facility and receive mentorship from industry experts, ensuring they are well-prepared for careers or entrepreneurial ventures in the sector.
Key goals of this initiative include:
Skill Development: Providing comprehensive training to foster technical expertise.
Youth Empowerment: Equipping young individuals to become employable or start their businesses.
Job Creation: Encouraging entrepreneurship to create economic opportunities.
Crime Reduction: Reducing youth unemployment to build a safer and more prosperous society.
The program's structured training can accommodate up to 150 participants every three months, ensuring scalability and significant impact. Beyond technical skills, participants will also receive business and management training to help them launch successful ventures, with job placement support for those pursuing employment.
